Sergio Díaz Infante Maldonado

Sergio loves being in the field, enjoying nature, plants, and birds in general, particularly hummingbirds. As a Mexican Biologist from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he has studied the organization of mixed flocks of forest birds, mistletoe's reproductive biology and pollination, and hummingbird-plant interactions. In addition, he has collaborated on several hummingbird ecology studies in different parts of Mexico and has also worked in environmental education programs. Now, he's looking forward to contributing further to hummingbird knowledge and conservation.
